You can use Ranger as a guest, or connect an EVM wallet on the Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663). Every feature works either way — connecting a wallet simply personalizes the session.

Guest Mode

You can use Ranger without connecting a wallet:
  • Access basic features and queries
  • No wallet connection required
  • Perfect for trying out Ranger
  • Some advanced features may require wallet connection

Supported Wallets

To unlock Pro features and use $RANGER tokens, connect a compatible cryptocurrency wallet. Ranger supports both Phantom wallets and EVM-compatible wallets (like MetaMask).

EVM Wallets

Any EVM-compatible wallet works with Ranger, including:
  • MetaMask
  • Trust Wallet
  • Coinbase Wallet
  • WalletConnect-compatible wallets

How to Connect

  1. Click the Wallet Connect Button - Look for the wallet connection button in the Ranger interface
  2. Select Your Wallet - Any EVM wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, Trust). Ranger prompts it to add/switch to chain 4663.
  3. Approve Connection - Approve the connection request in your wallet
  4. Verify Connection - Your wallet address should appear in the interface

What Happens After Connection?

Once connected, your wallet enables:
  • Personalized Experience - Enhanced features based on your wallet connection

Security Notes

Ranger never stores your private keys or has access to your funds. All wallet connections are handled securely through standard Web3 protocols.
  • Your private keys remain in your wallet
  • Ranger only reads your public wallet address
  • You maintain full control of your wallet at all times
  • Disconnect anytime from the wallet settings

Troubleshooting

Make sure your wallet extension is installed and unlocked. Try refreshing the page and attempting the connection again.
Ensure your wallet is connected to Robinhood Chain (Robinhood Chain). You may need to add Robinhood Chain network to your wallet if it’s not already configured.
Check your browser’s extension settings and ensure Ranger has the necessary permissions. Some browsers may block wallet connections.
